Consult

Consultations in languages other than Japanese are available. Please use this service to discuss any worries or questions you may have living in Usa City and Japan. Japanese people who are involved with foreigners can also be consulted.

Examples of consultations

  • I received a letter from City Hall. But I don`t know what to do.
  • Work is hard.
  • I got sick.
  • I am pregnant.
  • I don`t know how to pay taxes.
  • I have issue with my family.

Consultations when the Center is open

Open Times

  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
    ※During national holidays, open 10:00-14:00
  • Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
  • Closed from 29th December to 3rd January.
Visit to the Center
Consultations are provided in multiple languages
  • Japanese, English, Vietnamese.
  • Chinese more than once a month and Korean once a month.
  • We have a translation tool that can help to translate in 61 languages.

  • Please understand that the issues you discuss may be shared between Center staff.
  • The staff at the Center will help to solve the problems discussed in the consultations.
  • Sometimes we may seek advice from someone who is expert about the issues discussed.
  • The Center cannot lend you money nor provide you a place to sleep.
  • There may be cases where the Center may not be able to help you: legal issues, fraud, or situations that may put the Center staff in danger.
  • We will not disclose your name nor consultation details to anyone outside the Center without your permission.
