To the hospital
Mainly hospitals are open on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and Saturday till 12 p.m.
You can check the open days on the hospital website。
Whenever you go to the hospital, you must bring your health insurance card, residence card and money.。
Japanese only hospital (hospital that foreign language is not available), when you go to the hospital :
- Go to the hospital with people who can speak Japanese.
- Use a translation application that can translate about illness (“Voice Tra” application is recommended).
- Depend on the hospital (Onsen prefecture Oita Multilingual Call Center) can be used. Whether can you use it or not, please check with the people in the hospital.

If you get very seriously injured or ill, phone “119”
You can phone in foreign languages such as English, Chinese, Vietnamese and etc
